Hotel Fortuna - Ancona

The location was ideal and exceptionally nice, the staff were efficient. The room was kept clean and available with double bed, TV lounge with sofa-bed, as example.

the location was particularly good and unbeatable, really close to the constant stream of traffic of the road in front, the center of ancona and public transport, in a busy area. everything was cool, though a few employees were awful. we had a reasonably large room with a view of street.

The location is really great, the breakfast is excellent. The downtown is within 20 minutes' walk.

The hotel has a fantastic location right in front of the train station, and the staff provide efficient and friendly service with great amenities.

Breakfast was lovely, hotel directly opposite train station. We arrived at 9pm and we were getting a boat to Croatia the next day so this place was perfect for being near staition and ferry port. As we arrived late we couldnt be bothered to go very far but ate at a nice Indian restaurant 2 minutes down from hotel

I wouldnt stay in this area if I was staying for a longer trip

The Hotel is easy to find because in front of the rail station. Also all the buses for all destination (airport too) stop there. If you need to move a lot, this hotel is the best solution. It is clean and comfortable and the staff is well prepare to answer at all questions.

The hotel is far from the center and you need to walk a lot. If you go to Ancona for pleasure maybe this hotel is not the best solution. But if you go for business or only one night, it is high recommended.

The room was spacious, tidy, and had a recently updated bathroom.

This hotel is right in front of the train station, so it is pretty easy to find. We went by car and it was possible to park at a very low price directly in front of the hotel. Nice room, nice bathroom.

The guy who was at the front desk at our arrival was probably one of the worst front desk agent we have ever met. He never smile, seemed always busy, we had the impression that we were bothering him. Fortunately, the lady in the morning was very nice. Also, they should add some stoppers to the rooms' doors: I was awake early by people slamming doors in the corridor. Breakfast at 5 euros: too sweet and not very healthy.

The breakfast options are delicious with cakes and cheeses, and the hotel is ideally located in the center.

It was so convenient, just across the street form the train station, and easy to get the bus into the historical area of Ancona. Our room was very clean and larger than in many hotels we have stayed in in Europe. There was plenty of room to put luggage out of the way, and also good reading lights by the beds. The breakfast was excellent, with ham and cheese for protein along with a good variety of pastries, cereals and fresh fruit. Our room was ready when we arrived about 11 a.m. The front desk staff and housekeeping staff were all very cordial.

The Hotel was exactly what we needed when returning from Croatia as foot passengers. With the ferry not arriving until after 22.00hrs and having to catch a 7.00am train the following morning the hotel fully met our needs for an overnight stay. It is possible to walk from the port to the Hotel in under 30mins along a well lit main road. The station is exactly opposite the hotel. A nice breakfast served from 6.30am is ideal.

The location was particularly good, very close to the railway station and the free shuttle bus stop to the port, town center, and the cruise port. the overall atmosphere was quiet.
